Wagyu Beef Tasting in Megalong Valley

Following a highly successful launch last year, AJS-NSW has again made special arrangements for a lunch event at the Wagyu ranch of the Suzuki family in the beautiful Megalong Valley in the Blue Mountains.

The ranch of Belltree Australia Pty Ltd was established to supply high quality Wagyu seed stock and feedercattle to the Australian market at competitive prices. The principals are Tak and Yuko Suzuki whoimmigrated from Japan in 1991, with extensive experience in 'wagyu' breeding.

41st NSW Japanese Language Speech Contest
The 41st NSW Japanese Language Speech Contest will take place on 18th September to encourage learners who are studying Japanese to showcase their language skills in a challenging context.

A contestant will give a speech on the topic of his/her interest. Come along and take up a challenge. The winner of the Contest will proceed to the National Speech Contest (Saturday 16 October at the Japan Foundation Sydney).

AJS NSW Committee member Leigh McClintock will be a judge at the event.
